We calculate before we quote.
Every proposal starts with a load calculation, not a guess. That's why our estimates don't change halfway through the job.

Master Licensed · Puget Sound
Panel upgrades, EV charging, and whole-home backup for Seattle homes — from 1920s Craftsmans to new construction. Permitted, inspected, and passed the first time.
Capabilities
Most Seattle homes were wired for a toaster and two lamps. We bring them up to what a modern house actually draws.
How We Work
I
Before anything is quoted we calculate your actual service load per NEC 220. You find out what your panel can carry before you spend a dollar.
II
We pull the permit, coordinate with Seattle City Light or your utility, and schedule inspection. You never chase a jurisdiction.
III
Master electrician on every job. Circuits mapped, panel directory typed and laminated, work photographed before the walls close.
IV
We meet the inspector on site. If something needs correcting, it's corrected the same day and you're not billed for it.
Why Northwire
01
Every proposal starts with a load calculation, not a guess. That's why our estimates don't change halfway through the job.
02
Not a helper with a phone number to call. The person doing the work is the person who can sign for it.
03
We meet the inspector ourselves. Any correction is handled the same day at our cost.

This exceeds your service. You'll need a panel or service upgrade first.

Reviews
“We wanted an EV charger and a heat pump. Two other companies quoted the charger without mentioning our panel couldn't carry both. Northwire ran the numbers on the first visit.”
“Rewired a 1922 Craftsman we'd been told was a gut job. They opened six patches total and documented every circuit. Our insurance carrier accepted it without a second look.”
“The panel directory is typed, laminated, and accurate. Fifteen years in this house and that's the first time.”
