Questions
Answered plainly.
If your question isn't here, call the direct line. A master electrician answers it, not a call center.
- Do you charge for estimates?
- No. On-site estimates for planned work are free, and every one of them includes the NEC 220 load calculation your project depends on.
- Are you licensed and bonded?
- Yes. Northwire Electric holds a Washington master electrician license and carries full bonding and liability insurance. We provide the numbers on request and on every permit.
- Who pulls the permit?
- We do, always. We also meet the inspector on site. If a correction is required, it is handled the same day at our cost.
- How far out are you booking?
- Planned work is typically scheduled two to three weeks out. Outage and safety calls are handled 24/7.
- Do you work on commercial buildings?
- Our focus is residential, including ADUs, duplexes, and small multi-family. We refer larger commercial work to trusted partners.
- What payment terms do you offer?
- A deposit at scheduling, the balance at inspection sign-off. Financing is available on projects over $5,000.
- Do you warranty your work?
- Ten years on workmanship, plus the manufacturer warranty on all equipment we supply.
- What if my panel is a Federal Pacific or Zinsco?
- Those panels have documented failure modes and most insurers now flag them. Replacement is the only responsible fix, and it is work we do weekly.
